1. Find your own elected officials
Use the MA Find Your Legislator page and your zip code to look up your:
Massachusetts State Senator
Massachusetts State Representative
Write one postcard to each, as “constituent”, including your name & zip code.
2. Write your message
Use your own words or choose a prompt from the Postcard Prompt Sheet. Share why continuity of mental health care matters to you, your family, or your community.
Keep it short, personal, and handwritten; avoid details that identify you or your therapist.
3. Mail your postcards
Add a postcard stamp to each & drop them in any USPS mailbox. No envelope needed.
4. (Optional) Send postcards to the key decision-makers
Contact the members of the Joint Conference Committee control the fate of the amendment:
Even if you are not a constituent of these committee members, state your MA town and let them know you are writing "to support an amendment currently before your committee."
Contact Governor Maura Healey. While the Governor cannot move bills, she can support them publicly.
